The principle of the Academy is simple: certify, through a printed document, printers producing high value print work on creative papers.
To participate, the printer is tasked with reproducing a print job. The piece combines 4 different printing techniques - offset, screen printing, hot stamping and embossing - and must be reproduced on a selection of Arjowiggins papers representing the colours, textures and finishes available in their range.
In addition to the paper, each printer will receive a toolbox containing the information and supplies needed to produce each piece. Each box will contain print-ready files, as well as embossing and hot stamping dies.
