"An engraved tool, a hollow in the paper"
It is one of the oldest means of printing invented by the Chinese, then mechanized by Gutenberg in the 15th century. We are here at the birth of printing, but also at its revival thanks to the modernization of the manufacturing tools. The printing form representing your design is inked colour by colour and then pressed onto the sheet of paper.
This technique is now experiencing a real revival: the power of the colours and the possibility of playing with creative papers are not the least of its advantages. Thus, characters, visuals, drawings will find by the print left on the paper, an 'old-school' and really authentic aspect.
